Epic Oatmeal Recipe

Epic Oatmeal Recipe
February 4, 2012

Oatmeal is yummy and a good source of nutrition because it has dietary fiber. It also has no cholesterol and can reduce your cholesterol levels. Oatmeal contains vitamins like A, B, calcium and iron. It also has almost no fat.

Ingredients

3/4 cups of rolled oats (oatmeal)
1 teaspoon pure maple syrup
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon cinnamon
3/4 teaspoon honey
1/4 cup water
A pinch of sea salt

Heat 1/4 cup of purified water and pour it in a bowl with 3/4 cups of rolled oats (oatmeal). You can use a little more or less water, depending on the texture you prefer.

Add 1 teaspoon of maple syrup, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of cinnamon, 3/4 teaspoon of honey and a pinch of seal salt and stir. Eat and enjoy!

For a variation, try making a pot of tea and using the hot tea water. You could also add raisins. If you've never tried it, try eating your oatmeal with only cinnamon and salt. Sugar is sweet, but hardly necessary.
